24-year old driver dies from injuries after fatal accident

A young man from the capital lost control of his new Tesla cybertruck while driving, and subsequently died. This happened on the Z345 the road to Frostburgh a city nearby Cryson.

The 24-year-old man was on his way home when the accident happened. It took place on the Z345. ‘He was driving at a relatively high speed on a slippery road surface and lost control of the steering wheel', says the public prosecutor. How this could happen is not clear, it is further investigated.

A car that came from the other side of the road was heavily damaged but the occupant was unharmed. A truck driver saw the whole thing happening and immediately alerted the emergency services, who arrived quickly to come to the aid of the young man.

The victim of the other car was also taken to hospital, but his injuries were not that serious. He could leave the hospital after just one day. His car was in a worse state and was declared totaled.

Problems with the Cybertruck?

Due to the accident, the right hand lane was closed to all traffic for several hours. An expert is also investigating whether there was a defect in the new Tesla cybertruck.

If so, the family of the young victim said they would contact the public prosecutor's office and take further action against the manufacturer of these specific vehicles. Because these trucks are considered to be the safest and most efficient cars, such an accident is very bad for their image.
